The Wiltronics ME2000 is specifically designed to be used
in the field by officers involved in prescribed burns and
wildfires, and provide valuable moisture measurements to assist
in determining the burn rate for forest floor fine fuel. |
COOLGRO
- Automated Spray Control System for Cooling Pigs
 |
When shed temperatures exceed 22-24ºC pigs become hot
and food intake is reduced. As a consequence growth rate slumps
by at least 10%. Cooling growing pigs provides relief from
the heat in two ways. The pig is cooled and the evaporation
of water from the concrete floors also has a cooling effect
on the shed.

COOLSOW
- Automated Drip Control System for Cooling Sows

During extremely hot weather, or during a sudden heat wave
before sows are acclimatised to high temperature COOLsow drip
cooling systems save lives. COOLsow reduces respiration rate,
keeping sows more comfortable. Stillbirths are lower. Pigs
weigh more at weaning because cooled sows produce more milk. |
