DIGITAL COMPASS-DINSMORE This sensor provides eight directions of heading information by measuring the earth's magnetic field using hall-effect technology. It is easily interfaced to digital circuitry and microprocessors using only pull-up resistors. Specifications: Power: 5-18 volts DC @ 30mA Outputs: Open collector NPN, which will sink up to 25mA per direction Weight: 2.25 grams Size: 12.7 mm diameter, 16 mm tall Pins: 3 pins on 4 sides on .050 centers Temp: -20 to +85 degrees C

ANALOG COMPASS-DINSMORE ectional information.
A full 360 degree compass bearing can be derived, in 1 degree steps.
They will return to the indicated direction from a 90 degree displacement in approximately 2.5 seconds with no overswing.
Specifications: Power: 5VDC @ 19mA--since risetime is 90 only nanoseconds, input may be pulsed to save power. Outputs: 1525 Dual analog channels, total voltage swing rail to rail approx. 0.75 volts for both curves. 4mADC signals may be fed direct into A-D onmicroprocessors. Weight: 2.25 grams Size: 12.7 mm diameter, 16 mm tall Pins: 3 pins on 2 sides on .050 centers Temp: -20 to +85 degrees C
